Today News International announced this Sunday's edition will be its last. But according to the Guardian the web domain thesunonsunday.co.uk was registered on 5 July. Of course cynicalrebrandingexercise.com was already taken.
This seems to be an exercise in damage limitation. There's no question that News International will launch a new Sunday paper.
The Guardian also reports that Andy Coulson will be arrested tomorrow.
But Rebekah Brooks will doubtless be the only survivor of this disgusting story. James Murdoch needs her to take the flack if necessary and to be the fall guy later, if needed.
