Top astrophysicist Professor Borucki's modeling suggests there are more than 500 million earth-like planets in the milky way alone. Of course there are millions of galaxies like the milky way in the universe.
So chances of intelligent life out there must be pretty close to a dead cert.
However unlike the paranoid I suspect ET is not into visiting god forsaken parts of the US to anally prob locals and roll over cattle. Of course that could be what passes for alien space surfers.
